A section of the Hill & Smith FlexGuard, Motorcyclist Protection, was installed in Scotland earlier this year. The FlexGuard barrier was designed by Hill & Smith and it is intended to hang beneath any new or existing vehicle restraint system. It is predominantly used on sharp corners or bends where motorcyclists are most at risk of falling or skidding; in such an event, the FlexGuard will prevent the motorcyclist from impacting the posts. The FlexGuard has become a welcome addition to the Hill & Smith Flexbeam family.
