Project Support from ECI through to Installation

We can support our customers from the earliest stages of a project by providing guidance on Vehicle Restraint System (VRS) design and specification. Whether through site visits, design workshops, or technical meetings held in person or via Microsoft Teams, we work closely with stakeholders to develop the most practical and optimised solution while ensuring full consideration is given to the capabilities and limitations of the tested system.

Our support continues beyond installation, with comprehensive after-sales assistance available through on-site visits, telephone support, and email correspondence, helping to resolve any technical issues or site challenges that may arise during project delivery.

Bespoke Manufacture

At the heart of our business is steel manufacturing. Whether you require a bespoke component for a Vehicle Restraint System (VRS) installation or have a structural steel item you would like us to assess for manufacture, we are always happy to provide support. With our manufacturing facility located on-site, we have access to a wide range of specialist machinery capable of producing products for a variety of applications, including press machines, turret punching, coiling, swaging, welding and fabrication equipment, among others.

For VRS-specific requirements, customers can access our range of non-standard templates through the online Xtratech portal, allowing them to complete their requirements, approve the design details, and submit them directly to our team for processing and manufacture.

Technical Presentations

We offer tailored presentations designed to meet our clients’ specific requirements, delivered either in person or via Microsoft Teams. These sessions are aimed at strengthening collaboration between our teams, sharing updates on the latest product innovations and safety systems, and gathering valuable feedback from those specifying and installing our products.

Typical topics include key standards relating to Vehicle Restraint System (VRS) design and specification, such as CD 377, Local Authority design guidance, and EN 1317 testing requirements, as well as an overview of our full product portfolio and the range of technical, design, and project support services available to our customers. To help make the most of these sessions, we are also pleased to offer a contribution towards lunch and refreshments for attendees. To arrange a presentation or discuss your requirements, please get in touch with our team.
